Who We Are
ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL is a Christian preschool located in Montebello, California. Our school was established in the year 1913, while our preschool was established in 1989. Our school building has been here since 1948. Our long years of experience in childcare make us a dependable choice for parents when it comes to entrusting their little ones, as we also treat them as our own.
Our Christian Curriculum
ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN PRESCHOOL promotes a nurturing environment for kids, making them more equipped for their overall development. Our goal is to guide young children to become deeper-knowing and have a relationship with God – who loves them unconditionally and desires them to be all He created them to be.
Our Christian teachers do not only impart knowledge to our young children, but they also model Christian living in the process of nurturing and loving them. The goal of our preschool is to let every child experience and reflect Christian love toward one another.

We are committed to caring for children ages 2 to 5 years old. We value every kid’s well-being, especially those entrusted to us. With our high-quality childcare programs, we can make things easier for both parents and their little ones. We believe that caring for them and teaching them moral lessons and values at a very young age will help them be empowered to face life with ease and comfort.
Our Mission
It is our mission to incorporate Christian values into our lessons when it comes to teaching toddlers and preschoolers. We believe that the values we impart can contribute a lot to them, not just in becoming good children, but also good members of society. We celebrate our children’s small wins and consider their milestones as ours too!
